Honório Oliveira, 31 anos, pegou no restaurante o ano passado e transformou uma tasca decadente num espaço com bom ar e comida decente. Por ser filho de alentejanos, introduziu na ementa um petisco típico do sul: moelas fritas. “Foi a minha mãe que me ensinou e eu transmiti às duas cozinheiras que trabalham comigo.” Tomate, pimento azeite, louro, sal e outros temperos a olho. “Fazemos logo de manhã para ficar a apurar e cozinhamos à medida que os clientes pedem, Honório Oliveira sugere que se acompanhe as moelas com batatas bravas ou pão com manteiga. E para beber? Sangria ou cerveja. Durante os meses de Verão as bebidas têm happy hour, das 17 à 20 horas. E a cozinha, seja Verão ou Inverno, nunca fecha. QUE VÁ AO TONGA.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;texto_ Ana Markl&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A esplanada não tem vista para o mar como as que enchem as capas das revistas na silly season e nos esvaziam os bolsos por uma garrafinha de água. O Tonga, em Benfica, agarra-nos pelo estômago: é um restaurante com a ambição de qualquer sítio da moda em Lisboa mas com simpatia e preços de bairro; uma tasca contra a pressa tuga do café e copo de água, a puxar ao ritual espanhol do petisco tarde fora, mas sem gordura a brilhar no alumínio.&lt;br /&gt;O Tonga comemora este ano 4 décadas de vida. Esteve fechado durante algum tempo até que, há cerca de um mês, a nova gerência lhe fez um lifting. De café soturno parado no tempo e nos hábitos bafientos da vizinhança, o Tonga passou a paragem obrigatória para quem não deseja apenas empanturra a fome com pão-de-leite e seguir caminho.&lt;br /&gt;O sócio-gerente Honório Oliveira, apaixonado pelo ritmo saboreado da vida em Barcelona, dedica este sítio a quem come por gosto e não cansa. E isso nota-se logo na aposta nos petiscos e na Happy Hour, entre as 17h e as 20h.&lt;br /&gt;São seis da tarde, a caipirinha custa €2,50 e a ementa pisca-nos o olho com uma cúnfia bairrista: nela se pode ler que há “o belo do caracol” e até nos custa recusar tal intimidade com o apetitoso molusco. Se julga que é fino e só come caracóis em francês, há ovos de codorniz para picar com o mindinho espetado. Ou, numa perspectiva mais cosmopolita, mas não menos personalizada, as “batatas bravas como as do Rubi”. Honório Oliveira explica que o Rubi é um bar no Borne que tem “as melhores batatas bravas de Barcelona”. Agora não nos dá jeito ir lá comprovar, por isso acreditamos que as do Tonga sejam, pelo menos, as melhores batatas brava de Benfica.&lt;br /&gt;Os nomes na ementa chamam a atenção também para as refeições. Há , por exemplo, o “truz, truz” que é como quem diz, bitoque. Basta fazer as contas: um bitoque equivale a dois toques, não é verdade? Um “bife Astor Piazzolla” é com carne da Argentina, pois claro. E, à sobremesa, o “bolo de chocolate de comer e chorar por mais” fala por si. Honório Oliveira quer puxar pela criatividade nos nomes do pratos, mas ainda está a avaliar a reacção dos clientes. Chegou a ter uns arrojados “carapaus à Bruno Aleixo” mas nem toda a gente percebeu a a referência à personagem de culto da televisão e da internet (http://videos.sapo.pt/cena).&lt;br /&gt;Com decoração simples e pormenores vintage comprados na Feira da Ladra, espalhados pelo interior, o Tonga pretende reflectir esse mesmo espírito na esplanada, provisoriamente ocupada por cadeiras e mesas de plástico.
